and, with a relieved sigh escaping peacefully from the tar-sponges that are my coal-black lungs and the extinguishment of one last cigarette - IT WAS FINALLY DONE.

it looks a million times better in real life - there's an intricate latticework of super-fine detail on the face and the colours pop out ridiculously, as i used neon prismacolours for some parts, such as matt's halo and diabola's fireball. they light up real wicked-like under black light.

the scan looks nothing like it. a considerable amount of detail was lost, and the colours seem terribly washed out - you can't even really see his halo at all, which is quite sad. in the actual picture, the neon makes it seem like it's glowing.

yes, that's right - i gave him a halo.

edit: okay, i saturated the colours in photoshop, they look much closer to the original now, far less dreary and washed out. still can't figure out how to make the halo show up, though. meh.
