i started drawing this picture when i was sixteen. i am now 21, and i just finished the inking on it now... only took me five years. haha.
wonder how long it'll be before i finish the colouring. i'm actually starting to get bored with this, i've learned an awful lot more about drawing in general during the last half-decade and this looks fairly primitive and kind of childish to me now. in terms of purely technical skill, i've gotten a lot better... but still, i mean, fuck. i might as well. i've been awfully busy lately actually doing stuff that matters now that i'm a reclusive hermit and i've stopped leaving my house or seeing anyone i know, so the coloured version should be up soon. it'll be a relief to get it out of the way. since it was one of the first things i ever really made an effort at making more than just a half-assed incomplete doodle, i stupidly used paper from these oversized cheap-ass sketchbooks they gave to us in our art class; as a result, it's impossible for me to fit the entire picture on my scanner at once, which i find irritating. i'm very curious to see what it will look like when i finish it.
