started absent-mindedly doodling last night, did some more on it this morning. i kept telling myself 'dammit, finish it! finish the tentacles, add scales, actually FINISH a drawing for once!' and i was going to but i've got ridiculous ADD and now i'm bored with it and my mind is wandering on to something else and ooh look a shiny piece of tinfoil

Super surreal, it's definately at home in it's category!
I don't know what all the text means, I personally would have preferred it without them but the image is outstanding nonetheless!
Well done

most of my drawings are just my brain absent-mindedly wandering over concepts. the text bubbles just fit in there. i find them amusing. little phrases like 'beware the marabou stork' pop into my head (just as the tentacle tongues and talking bugs and jingle bells do) and i put them in along with the images. they have their place there.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
